Vision and Values👑

Kiki Frog doesn’t just put on little shows to entertain the crowd. He loves creating immersive and honest experiences that touch the audience in a deep and authentic way. For him, art should reflect life—both the nuances of everyday moments and the extreme emotions that drive us. With his boldness, intuition, and endless ideas, he crafts unique moments that both surprise and move you!

This vision influences every project he chooses. He favors projects that allow creative freedom, where he can explore stage codes, play with existing works, and offer a new take on live performance. And nothing holds him back! Taboo, provocative, he explores every aspect of Kiki, always pushing the boundaries of each show.

As a director and manager, he doesn’t mess around with his values: respect, kindness, communication, and understanding. Values he defends like a true leader! Thanks to this, he builds tight-knit teams like a family, where everyone can be themselves, be heard, and be respected. And workplace fulfillment? That’s key! He knows that a happy artist is one who gives their best. With him, everyone develops their talents and desires, and together, they create spectacular shows with great teamwork spirit!

Creation and Project Management 🧘🏻‍♂️

For Kiki lFrog, creating a show is like painting a canvas: it all starts with a clear vision and a well-defined framework. Before even thinking about glitter and costumes, Kiki takes the time to establish what he calls the “conditions for creation.”

From his pebble beach (no sand in Nice, mind you!), he asks himself the crucial questions:

  • What’s the budget?
  • How many artists are involved, and what’s their skill level?
  • Who is the audience? What’s the theme?
  • Etc, etc !

This initial phase helps structure the project around key parameters, providing a solid foundation to move forward smoothly in the creative process.

Once these “conditions for creation” are set, the project moves into the design phase.

Kiki then tackles the strategic steps: financing, communication, outreach, and recruitment. Because, let’s face it, to put on a good show, you need funds, you need people to know about it, and you need an audience to show up, right? Whether it’s securing partnerships, overseeing grant applications, or managing recruitment to ensure he’s surrounded by the right team, every step is meticulously coordinated to achieve a result that aligns with his artistic vision.

And when it comes to selecting talent, it’s no different—Kiki doesn’t settle for just anyone. He knows that a passionate and skilled team can make the difference between a good show and a truly unforgettable performance. As a casting director and manager, he carefully chooses artists based on the specific needs of each project. For an amateur or volunteer production, for example, Kiki looks for individuals with potential to grow, learn, and most importantly, integrate seamlessly into the group. He ensures that everyone feels comfortable, confident, and ready to step on stage with a big smile!

De la création à la scène !

Between creation and execution, the journey can be long and the steps many. Faithfully translating what’s imagined on paper to the stage isn’t always easy! Below, you’ll find examples of scenes written and directed by Kiki, along with their final result on stage.

For On n’est pas dans High School Musical, creating dramatic tension before launching into We’re All in This Together was essential. And what better way to do that than with a good old-fashioned argument! Kiki had fun crafting a moment where the characters yell at each other without holding back. It’s pure joy to watch them hurl sharp retorts before coming together in the song as if nothing happened!

The video

For Sous les jupes des Bananes, just like every show, it was essential to create a striking opening scene. The goal: quickly introduce the characters, establish the stakes, and set the scene. So, Kiki wrote a straightforward… introduction scene! With a touch of humor and a lot of energy, this opening throws the audience straight into the action.

The video

“I didn’t have the chance to tell you how much my children and I enjoyed attending your show. Congratulations to your troupe. We laughed and hummed a few songs… A big thank you… pure happiness in these difficult times.”

Carole B.

“You set the bar high, and it’s amazing how much energy was put into reaching it. A special thank you to the character of Lune, and especially to the performer, for moving me to tears with their story about the label.”

Manon M.

“A punch from start to finish! Everything flowed beautifully and seamlessly. The choreography, the music, and the costumes were perfect. You all looked amazing. Lots of love for what’s to come.”

A Pen in service of the Stage✒️

As a lyricist, Kiki Frog doesn’t just string words together to sound pretty. Every sentence has a purpose, every word is carefully chosen to tell a story, convey emotion, or explore the complexities of the human spirit. Inspired by his personal experiences and unique worldview, he writes with a pen that is both sensitive and daring.

“When I write, I like to immerse myself in the psychology of the characters, understand their fears, dreams, and contradictions. Every word matters and must be thoughtfully considered because the French language offers an infinite wealth to explore.”

Whether it’s lighthearted and humorous lines or deep and impactful lyrics, Kiki Frog is dedicated to crafting songs that captivate with their sincerity and originality. Playing with conventions and reinventing genres, he masters the art of writing lyrics that surprise, resonate, and linger in memory.

Writing lyrics is far more than a technical exercise—it’s a powerful narrative art that breathes life into characters, heightens a storyline, or defines a pivotal moment in a piece. Kiki’s immersive approach and his ability to adapt to any artistic universe make him a versatile lyricist, ready to embrace any creative challenge.

With heartfelt, refined, and emotionally charged writing, Kiki creates iconic lyrics that resonate just as powerfully in eccentric musicals as they do in intimate ballads.

Recordings (sorry only french songs for now dear)

Cell Block Tango From Chicago become C’est un cabaret, a french masculine version about the strange stories of the cabaret.

We don’t talk about Bruno From Encanto become Tu dois respecter les règles, a french version about the rules we have to respect in colocation.

Poor unfortunate souls From The Little Mermaid become Pauvre bande de pédé, a satire from an homophobic and sadistic person.

Musical Arrangement and Recomposition 🎼

The art of musical arrangement lies in reinterpreting and recomposing a piece while respecting the essence of the original work. This discipline requires a delicate balance between creativity and fidelity. Kiki has adapted numerous scores into new arrangements to meet the specific needs of his projects and performers.

His arrangement process is meticulous and thoughtful. Depending on the requirements, he can:

  • Simplify harmonies to make them accessible for beginners without sacrificing the beauty of the piece.
  • Redistribute notes to balance vocal sections and achieve a cohesive sound.
  • Add new harmonies or melodies to enrich the composition or create a unique dynamic tailored to the stage context.

This tailored approach allows Kiki to transform iconic compositions into unique, customized versions that perfectly suit the intended performance.

For “Never Enough,” Kiki had to arrange this iconic solo from The Greatest Showman into a duet for two sopranos.
